Is NeuroVite Plus Right For You?

NeuroVite Plus is promoted as a dietary supplement that provides a balance of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and digestive enzymes, thus improving the overall body functions. This product is offered by Amen Clinics, a company founded by Dr. Amen, a certified psychiatrist and physician.

In addition, NeuroVite Plus is said to be able to provide the anti-oxidant benefits of a full serving of the most nutrient-dense and diverse fruit and vegetables in each daily dose. However, there are no studies to support these claims. The fact is that the supplement features an unusual high number of ingredients, perhaps relying to much on the principle: more is better. We do not consider this “all but the kitchen sink” approach necessarily a good one, since unwanted side effects may arise from the interactions of these ingredients combination and the exact benefits of such combinations are rarely supported by evidence.

Recommended dose is 4 tablets daily for adults and teens, or as directed by physician. It is best to be taken with meals in divided doses, such as 2 tablets with 2 largest meals of the day.
